AP Education Common Entrance Test (APEd.cet-2018) for admission into B.Ed. regular Course of two years duration for the academic year 2018-19 will be conducted on behalf of APSCHE by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati

Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test known as AP EdCET 2018 Is going to be organized by the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education on 19 April 2018. Candidates who wish to take admission in to B.Ed regular course (Two years duration) offered in Universities and affiliated colleges of education in AP for the academic year 2018-19. The exam will be conducted at various exam centers and it will be a Online (Computer Based Test) mode test. Huge number of candidates will enroll and appear for the exam every year. AP EDCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality and Domicile:

• Candidates should be a citizen of India.
• Candidates should have the domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
• Applicants should be of 19 years or should be completed.
• Candidates must have passed degree in the branch of B.A/B.Sc/B.com/B.CA/B.BM
• Candidates must have minimum 50% marks for General category in relevant branch and
• SC/ST candidates should have 40% marks.
• Candidates should have local/Non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational order 1974 amendment.

Educational Qualification:

1. Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science) /B.Com./ B.E/B.Tech/B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for AP Ed.CET-2018. Candidates should be required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.
2. Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree i.e. B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or in the Masters Degree in relevant subject or 5years integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
3. Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in B.E/B.Tech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subject or any other qualification equivalent there to, are eligible for admission to the programme

AP EDCET 2018 Application Fee & Payment:

• For General Category Rs 650/- (Without Late Fee)
• For SC/ST Rs 450/- (Without Late Fee)
• AP Online Payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card & Net banking)

HOW TO APPLY:

• Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE
• Online submission of application may be made by accessing the Boards website apedcet.nic.in Instructions for submitting online application and payment of fee are available on website.
• Candidates may remit the fee in the following manner.
• Pay the required application fees for the form
• No you can proceed to fill application form
• On the given page fill the entire mandatory column carefully and accurately
• Upload the scanned copies of all required document in the given format
• After completing all formalities submit the application
• Take the print of the submitted application for further use.

Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/Sports Candidates:

PH-Certificate issued by District Medical Board-- Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible.

CAP- Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer (In case of Ex-Service men) Identity card and Discharge book for verification. Candidates whose parents are domicile of Andhra Pradesh are only eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.

NCC & Sports- To produce Original Certificates issued by competent authorities.The decision of the verifying authority is final in respect of above special reservation categories with regards to priorities fixed.

APEdCET 2018 Exam Pattern:

AP 2018 EDCET paper will consist of 150 Multiple Choice Questions. The time duration of exam will be of 2 hours. The paper will divided into 3 parts:
Part 1: English 25 questions for 25 marks.
Part 2: General Knowledge 15 questions for 15 marks and Aptitude 10 questions for 10 marks.
Part 3: candidates who chosen their methodology based on that questions will be asked Physical science: 100 questions for 100 marks (physics -50 chemistry-50) Mathematics : 100 questions for 100 marks. Social studies: 100 questions for 100 marks (Geography-35, History-30 civics-15,Economics-20) English 100 questions for 100 marks.
