Anna University To Conduct Open Book End-of-Semester Exams

The theory end-of-semester exams for all even semesters at Anna University will be an open book sort online proctored test for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students in April/May 2021. The decision was made as a one-time response to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the circular.


Students would be able to link to course content both in print and online, according to the circular. Community meetings, on the other hand, would be considered unethical.


The exams will be conducted for a total of 50 marks. The question paper will be divided into two sections, A and B, under the new format. Five two-mark questions will make up Part A, and five eight-mark questions will make up Part B, with one question from each unit. The circular states, "As this is an open book review, no option will be made."
