HP Board 10th Class Result 2020

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education or HPBOSE will release the 10th result 2020 hp board today. The results will be announced today, at 4.15 pm, according to a statement released by the HPBOSE. The results will be hosted at hpbose.org. The students will need their registration details to check the 10th class result 2020. Last year the HPBOSE 10th result was announced in April and the pass percentage was 61.2 per cent. Ending the rumors surrounding the update of the 10th results of the HPBOSE, a statement from the Board said that it will hold a press conference today as part of the 10th result statement and asked the media to maintain social distance in view of the COVID-19 situation.

Hpbose declared the result of class 10 exam today, June 9. A total of 1.04 lakh (1,04,323) candidates who had appeared in the examination can check the hpbose 10th class result 2020 through the website- hpbose.org. Chairman Suresh Soni “The result will be available at the website around 4 pm. The students will get the mark sheets later once lockdown lifted.”

HPBOSE 10th Result 2020 Date: Pass Percentage

The candidates who have appeared for the examinations can check their result on hpbose.org. There are third party result websites where candidates can check the result as well. The overall pass percentage is 68.11 percent. Tanu Kumar has topped the examination by securing 98.71 percent followed by Kshitiz Sharma who secured 2nd rank with 98.56 percent. Vansh Gupta, Shagun Rana and Anisha Sharma have secured third rank with 98.43 percent.
Girls have performed better than boys this year. A total of 23 girls and 14 boys are in the top ten list. A total of 104323 students have appeared for the exam out of which 70571 have passed the exam. The table given below has the result link. At present, the official site is not working due to heavy traffic. Candidates are advised to refresh the official site to check the result.

HP Board 10th Class Result 2020

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala came into existence in 1969 as per Himachal Pradesh Act No. 14 of 1968 with its headquarter at Shimla later shifted to Dharamshala in January 1983. The Board started with a staff of 34 officials which has subsequently increased to 438. The Education Board prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. At present, the Board conducts examination for the following classes and courses: 8th (Private Capacity), 10th, 10+1, 10+2, J.B.T and T.T.C. As many as 5 Lakh candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board. Presently more than 8000 schools are affiliated with the Board. The Board has set up 1650 Examination centres throughout the state. Board also publishes text books for class 1st to 12th. Apart from a Liaison Office at Shimla, the Board has also established 19 Sale Book Depots/Information Centres in the state to cater to the needs of students.
